We are so happy to announce our move from Swanton Berry Farm where we got our start, to the Davenport Meadow in between the Roadhouse and the Bonny Doon Vineyard Tasting Room, eleven miles north of Santa Cruz, and seventy five miles south of San Francisco. We got all excited to be able to share our news with you that we are now open for business, here on the land that the Roadhouse occupies.
Please come visit us this weekend for National Pancake Day on Saturday, enjoy a lovely brunch. Order your Splashy Cocktails, come sit outside, and feast in our chill zone, or just pick up one of our gift boxes, for a loved one that includes Pancake Mix, and all the accoutrements, from Pie Ranch, and our local artisans.
On Sunday, from 9:30am till 11:00am Save Our Shores sponsors a Beach Clean Up at The Davenport Main Beach located right across from our new location. We’re excited to be closer to our favorite beach and we look forward to seeing some of you participate, in the monthly clean ups. Starting in April, we will see a change to weekly clean ups, as spring break, and then summer brings more visitors.
We invested in our Pluckfastic program, for 2015 quite deeply, in an effort to begin to create a zero waste foot print. Our co-founders Dana and J really thought this program through from the inception of SLOWCOAST as a way to lessen plastic ware at our ranches, and farms, for Pie Service, and to go foods. We sell the utensil sets, and singles, in bamboo, to support their vision.
We are still putting the finishing touches on our new chill zone, and will be open 10:30 – 5:00 this week, with our evening hours and morning hours increasing once daylight savings time kicks in March 7th.
As always, In Slow We Trust
